ControlScan Announces Verifone MNSP Certification

New Managed Network Service Provider program reinforces secure, compliant relationships between Verifone, convenience retailers, and the service providers they share.

ATLANTA, Feb. 4, 2019 - ControlScan, a leader in managed security and compliance solutions that help secure networks and protect payment card data, announces it is certified by Verifone as a Managed Network Service Provider (MNSP). Under the new MNSP partner program, convenience retailers utilizing Verifone Commander and RubyCi point-of-sale (POS) systems are approved to use ControlScan for managed security and other network-related services.

The use of multiple network service providers can increase convenience retailers’ breach risk and further complicate compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The Verifone certified MNSP partner program provides visibility and control for all parties by ensuring that the service provider connecting to Verifone is properly vetted as secure and PCI compliant.
